After Surgery Healing starts by slowing it all down in our daily life. Healing is a process that takes time and patience. It is important to be able to receive while our body is getting back to wholeness.
My surgery, of the feminine kind, was last week and all went well. I am home now slowly healing one day at a time. My husband is my nurse and he is doing such a good job taking care of me. My after surgery healing is about doing nothing and simply receiving.
So my focus for my after surgery healing is about surrendering in the moment. When I find myself frustrated about not being able to go up and down stairs or drive I remind myself to surrender to the healing. As I see the housework that needs to be done I just get back to the moment and remind myself that I need to rest in order to heal.
Surrendering
Surrendering to Spirit in the moment is a powerful jewel for self discovery. It is a conscious act of letting go of control and letting God be in charge of all our affairs especially healing after surgery.
It takes awareness, strength and courage to get to the place of putting our healing in Spirit’s hands on a daily basis, sometimes moment to moment. Healing after surgery is an important time to practice surrendering.
Self love is an important aspect of surrendering. We begin to feel better about ourselves, allowing ourselves optimal healing when we put our life in God’s hands.
When we are surrendering to the universe we get out of the way, letting go of all resistance to the process of healing. What we need is provided by Source. Goddess loves us and wants us to be happy fulfilled and healed in body, mind, emotion, spirit.
